Day 3 and Day 4

I have opted to post pictures on separate posts to avoid the clutter.

Day 3:

Yesterday (Saturday) my roommates and I went on a guided tour of our neighborhood and the surrounding area. We walked up to the Regent's Park where locals play real football and have picnics. It was a very pretty morning and the flowers were so pretty. We crossed a cute bridge that crossed on of the canals in Camden. During the walk we also passed awesome architecture and very pretty gardens. We then headed up to PrimRose Hill which is the very rich neighborhood right next to ours. Kate Moss lives here. The townhouses were tiny. I was shocked. I kind of expected giant homes, but nope.  We all got the America's next top model telephone booth picture there as well.  We then walked to a nice ice-cream shop. I got toffee. Yum! Then our tour ended at the Camden Market. It was a lot bigger then I thought it would be. A mix between the boardwalk in Ocean City and a real flea market. After a big day out we went home and napped. Later we all went out to The Worlds End again for Kelly's 21st Birthday.

Day 4:

Today (Sunday) me and two of my roommates took a day trip to Greenwich. We took the tube over. When you got out we were on the Thames  River. We got to see the London Eye! It was huge. Right across the way was Big Ben and Parliament. We then got on a boat and road down the river. Seeing The dome of St. Paul's Cathedral, The Replica of The Globe Theater, we went under The London Bridge, and the London Tower. We got off the boat in Greenwich where we had a guided tour of the history there. We also had our first chance to use the public toilets (see below)....  On our tour we saw things like where the olympics are being held, The Old Royal Navel College, The Painted Hall and Cathedral, The Observatory and Stood on the Prime Meridian Line.

Toilets: Public toilets here are like James Bond's port-a-pots. Its a big black bocks that you put 10 pence into and the door slides open, you then tell it to shut the door and it starts to talk to you. You go on a "Guys" seat and do not flush. You then put you hand under a thing and it plops a glob of soap on your hand and then it washes your hands for you. After it washes it then turns on a dryer and dryes them. Then you press the out button and go. Then the thing retracts the toilet and cleans itself. Floor, walls and all. SO WEIRD.

Pictures will follow.
