Day 30- Day 33

I ended up going to the Wireless Festival on Sunday to see Kayne West and Flo Rida. It was much like the hip hop version of Van's Warped Tour. It was really hot and I got really really dirty from all of the dust. I though all of the acts were good but the papers bashed Kayne for acting like a dick. What did they expect? 

Monday Sarah and I went to Convert Gardens Market and shopped around before getting caught in the rain. We tried to go to the V&A but it was closing by the time we got there which sucked. We went home and hung out then we all went out for drinks. Later I went to a 4 story arcade which was cool.

Tuesday I had school for a bit then I meet up with some people and went to Westfeild. Its the only and largest mall in the UK. They even had a hollister, which they don't have in the UK.  After that we went out to See the premier of Harry Potter, we didn't see much but there was a lot of people. We also went to some scary attraction about Jack the Ripper. I didn't get scared but everyone else in my group was.  They we ate Mexican food which was more toned down then American Mexican food. It was still the spiciest thing i've had sense i've been here.

Today I am doing a makeover at Studio 52! I hope I look good.

Day 29

Happy 4th of July. It's weird not to be state side. We had a American style feast that had french fries, hamburgers, chicken tenders, fresh fruit salad, and budwiser. It was the most American food I've had in a long bit. 

We went out to the market today and I got a few things. Planning to go out tonight.

Days 25-28

Hello all!

I've been very busy with my soon to be finished class. I've been pulling 7 hour class days to get my project done. Other then that it has been a record heat wave here in London. Just so everyone knows as well, Londoners don't know what air conditioning is. 

We've been cooling off by swimming in the lido in Hyde Park. Today we did a day trip back to Brighton. I got a little burnt on my back, but my roommate Sarah is burnt to a crisp. We used lotion too!

Gearing up for the 4th of July. Hope all is well in the states, talk to you soon!

Day 22- Day 24 Pictures

Day 24

Yesterday we went to Brighton. Its a small beach town that looked much like ocean city but without the sand. They had rocks. We ate a nice breakfast and laid out.  It was a little bit cold in the morning. We all napped for so long. Then we walked the pier and rode a ride and ate some waffles. We laid out again and even swam. It was really really cold. We rode back and made dinner at home. Sarah came back from her weekend trip and all is well.

Day 22- Day 23

Hello All!

Friday Chris and I went to Stonehenge and Bath. We almost didn't make our bus and literally had to make a run for it. We got there safe and sound though. Stonehenge was our first stop. Now in my head I thought of these towering rocks that were like 40 ft high and that you would be able to climb up them and walk around them and stuff. I also though it would be on a flat field. But I was really wrong. Stonehenge lies 6 feet from the highway on top of rolling hills. It is not big at all. The circle was not that large and the stones were kinda small too. A circle around the rocks was roped off and you could not get closer than 50 ft. And it was raining. And I was in a dress. I think I would have liked it more if I didnt have such expectations in my head.

We also went to Bath. I LOVE BATH. It houses the only Roman Bath house still standing in the World. Yup, not even in Rome. The town there was soooooo pretty and nice. Its the most expensive town in The UK to live. And they had a Sally Beauty Supply, so I was in heaven. Bath was very pretty. Just look at the Pictures.

When we got home we ate dinner then heard that the Killers were having a concert in Hyde Park. We packed up a blanket and some wine and marched down there just as they ended their set! UGH. So we all just hung out in the park and talked and drank and looked at the sun set/stars. It was really nice.

Saturday- We woke up early and tried to go to Breakfast. Nothing was open so we settled for McDonalds. After breakfast we went to the market and shopped. I then took Chris to the airport and said a sad goodbye then came home. I napped and did laundry. I Just ate left overs for dinner and plan to just hang out tonight,

Day 21 Pictures

Day 21

I had class till 1, but Chris did some exploring. He went to the changing of the guard, St Pauls, and the tower of London.

When I got out of school we went to Harrods, a big expensive department store. We ate a really really good roasted chicken with veggies. I also got cupcakes and a dog toy for my girl. 

That night we went to see Transformers, which was pretty good. I'm iffy about it but everyone else liked it.
